What is the price of sisal baler twine this year? No has said anything about it. Think i was paying like 26.95 last year. Has plastic gone up or about the same as last year? Thanks just wondering it will be hay time in oh bout 5 months or so maybe less so need to get those balers ready.

Sisals harder than heck to find in my area and my old baler works better with it. But, price was $36.00 last year so I went with plastic at $26.00 and just dealt with it not tying from time to time.

I found a place selling sisal last year for about $25 a bale for the 7200 and 9000. The New Holland dealer was close to $38 a bale.

I called the local NH dealer on 1-31.The price for 9000 sisal is $32.00 in South Jersey.

We sell about 4 tractor trailer loads of sisal twine a year. This years prices are as follows: 16,000 = $32 9k & 10k = $30

I thought that I would need some more the last of the hay season last year and the price that I got on 9000 ft. New Holland was about 36.00 I think. I had been buying it for about the same price you stated. I was told that they had ran out of the twine at the old prices of a year or so ago and that was current price.

I bought mine at TSC I think I paid $28 at the start of the season, but at the end of the season I managed to get a bundle for $21. This is for squares..

Maybe I should've bought more.

I only go through 2 bundles (4 rolls) a season so I have no need to let it sit around.
