Howdy, Was just wonderin if any you fellas might have a ballpark price on a tandem axle (3500/axle) 16-18' an 83" across with brakes on one axle. Some have removable fender/s some dont.Been lookin at new and used ones and theres definatly some price diferance from area to area in both new and used. Well figured some one out there would have some helpful suggestions. Thanks Hoss

Don't buy one without brakes on all wheels . I a 16' Utility trailer three years ago has what they call wrapped tongue "Comes back to wheels". Rated at 7000 lbs, has 5' ramps with ramp racks built under trailer.also got brakes on all four wheels $200 extra , Gave $1,039 for it tax and all . Would be higher now the price of steel has gone up . Should find one for less than $2,000 . If had to do over again would get 9,000 lb Trailer. The only difference is top rail is square tubing instead of angle .

I haven't priced a trailer of that nature in several years now, but I would think $3,000 or less?

Also, most states now require brakes on ALL axles, something you might want to consider before buying a brand trailer and then find you need to add brakes to the other axle.
