Give it time, give it time. In a few more years you'll wonder why you spent all that time with a steam cleaner, and money on a shed (if it was just to protect a curtain) because the curtain will be ripped and torn the same as all the rest of them. Usage tends to do that to them. Nothing wrong with looking after your gear carefully, but those curtains will go no matter what you do.

Ok doc, how much for a GMD77/NH465? You got my attention. I need one, my neighbour needs one. Made in US? Approximate weight for shipping? E-mail me if you prefer.

Dunno what the 66 is worth. The GMD 77 was about 1250 Cad a couple years ago. That's something like a grand and a bit in your money, at today's exchange. I doubt the foot in width will make much difference. It's not just your dealer that's asking a lot. I've found that old used conveyor belting can be fitted and made to do the job. You may find that the front piece needs to be cut a little short or else it will push the hay over. I used 1/2" or thicker. Forget exactly what it was now. A light 2 ply belting, mabey no more than 1/4" thick would be better? One thing mine isn't getting is a 1250 buck curtain.
