Has anyone ever used a Reese drum mower? I was looking at one the other day. It looks to be in good shape. How do they compare to disc mowers. All of the disc mowers in my price range look pretty well worn. I've also heard maintainance and repairs can be high on disc mowers. Thats why I'm leaning toward a drum mowers.

Hey hay DR. does CCM have a dealer in the PA/MD/VA area? Or do you ship direct? Was at an auction in Leola Pa today and watched a ztr 185 go for $3k- it appeared to be new, but the date code said 2004. It was from a dealer in Vermont do you think this was a good deal?

The ZTR185 is made by Agrostroj Pelhrimov and was imported by American Jawa (Zetor) but they have since stopped importing and supporting these mowers with parts. This is the same factory that is also making the same mower sold by Vicon. There is nothing wrong with these mowers but the parts support is poor and expensive.

We have a distributor in WV covering parts of OH,MD,PA & WV. J E Stephens, Cottageville WV 304-372-5200

The HayMAXX T-190 drum mower new is $2,900 and we have mega parts support.

Take a look at the HayMAXX drum mowers by CCM. A new one is half the price of a disc mower.
