I saw that one of these balers will be in an auction soon. It looks very nice. Does anyone know anything about these balers? I know that they are a fixed chamber baler and will not make as tight of bales asa the belt balers. Any help wwould be greatly appreciated!

I own a Kr 160, which is identical in everything except for the size of the bale. You can't beat it. The fixed chamber allow for faster baling, and with fewer moving parts you need less HP in front of it. Highly suggest net rap.

They can make a very tight bale. There is an adjustment for density. The bales are still round and rollable next May.

I buy alot of hay and have bought hundreds of 4x5 Krone bales. Also bought some 4x5 bales bales with a new JD this yr. I judge bale weight by the way the old Oliver front end acts. The Krone bales weight just as much but I think they may have been slight oversize. I like them fine. We like to pull hay out of bales for our calf bedding and you can't get much, that's for sure.
