I know this may be a little new for this forum but I would like to know is does anybody out there have any experience with AerWay pasture aerators. Specifically what is the horsepower needed to pull a 5 or 6 foot unit, and how effective are they?

I have a 8' with about 1200 pounds of weight on it. Most of the time pull it with 5520 JD with MFD, tractor has 2000 pounds of weights on it,puts out about 90 hp. Around here all the pasture is to rolling to farm and sometimes its not any more tractor than i need on the hills. The aerway does a nice job, most of the time in places like that i run it in the first set of holes from straight. I try to do it when its dry breaks dirt up better, and ahead of a rain so it doesnt stress the grass as much. Most years i even use it on our yard our grass stays green alot longer than any of our nieghbors yards
