I'm interested in learning more about the JD 350 and 450 sickle mowers, in particular:

1. What years were they in production? How is the production model year determined from the serial no.?

2. What, if any, were some of the significant changes made to the mowers during production?

3. Were the wobble boxes the same during production?

4. Did the 450's hitch design change during production?

Thank you in advance for any information.
Bill

1. 350 mower built from about 1970 to 2000, give or take a year or two. Cannot tell from SN unless you contact dealer/factory.

2. Main improvement was from tapered pin attaching point in main frame to straight pin.

3. Wobble remained the same I believe.

4. Hitch never changed on 450 that I recall
