Suggestions for selling baler

I have a NH Super 66 gas engine powered baler that I am looking to unload. My problem is I do not know how much to ask for it. The engine runs, but overheats pretty quickly when bailing. The knotters work, but the knives are dull and the bill hooks need a good cleaning and it may need to be re-timed. The carb should be replaced, along with the exhaust and the drive belts and both tires. Basically it needs a decent amount of little things fixed, but runs well and makes nice tight bales (when the knotters tie).

So I am looking for an idea what would be a fair asking price in Mid-East Pa. There are a few dealers around, but they won't pickup and I have no way of getting it to them.

If they are going to use an engine to power the baler why not just use a tractor. In the picture they make a trailer just to hold the engine. I'm confused.

As a former owner of one I can say it's 'probably' not worth a whole lot. However, given your location, the Amish may be interested in it. Do you have any local 'farm papers' around? They usually have a classified section that gets good coverage in the rural area. Or try this site's classified section. I pulled mine home with a pickup, over 50 miles, only one blown tire;-( You may also be able to part it out. Good Luck with it.
