Anyone used belts from Excel located in ST Louis?? Are they doing OK? They have the best price but may be a case of you get what you pay for? Thanks for any comments. GHH

Excel uses import belting. Excel does not sell any belting to any of the US or European bale manufacturers. Excel is just an importer not a manufacturer and they use various manufacturers for the same belting. Just like an auto having all the tires from the same manufacturer and baler works best with belts from the same manufacturer. When purchasing baler belting from Excel you could have belts from different manufacturers. Their belting looks ok but how long will they work? In time Excel belts will not last as long as Legg, Goodyear, Prairie or WACCO. Excel does not use the continuous lamination process that the US OEM suppliers use. There are numerous good suppliers of OEM baler belting. Make sure you are getting baler belting and not conveyor belting. They may look the same from the outside but are not constructed the same and will not last or work properly in your baler. Just do a search for baler belts and you'll see the major sellers of baler belting.

I bought belts from Excel for my 330JD. They have been OK with no problems. Bought the four longer ones two years ago and the two short ones this past season. Far as I can see they are good. I liked the price also.
