I am currently rebuilding a manure spreader and don"t know what model it is. Can anyone tell me what year and what model this one might be? Also is there a identification plate somewhere?

It is an N as the body is too long for a W and the first picture shows the tag has fallen off as it should be on the lower right front corner and fastened to the wood with nails.

If it has a round pipe in front with a lever with about 4 or 5 notches in it to adjust the apron speed its a model R. I have some parts for one if you need some I might have it.

I have been searching for the R but can't seem to find any pictures. Anyone know where I might find some?

Thanks,
Daniel

The beaters are pto driven and the floor is driven by the axle. Could it be a model 40?

Can't be a 40. The floor chain is power driven. You can actually stockpile manure with a 40.

I think you have a model N. It's hard to tell from the picture The N was 134 bu , the W was the same as the R except it was pto driven and 95 bu. About 1958. Can't remember about the plate, maybe the lower front of the box. It's either a W or a N.
