Thanks for the inf. My friend dad died last year and he found it in the garage its looks new but there no name on it he wants $50 His tractor is a class 2 hitch.

I recently bought a $69 HF quickhitch. I had looked at them for years, but I didn't want a $200 + bill. But after I got it, I had to modify it to work. It is handy for picking up my backblade or the york rake. You cannot use it for the posthole digger.

Donald: They are a great device, especially for big tractors, of course the reason being, big tractors have big implements. It works great on large semi-mounted plows, cultivators, chisel plows, etc. The key here is big weight.


Another factor you have to consider, are all your implements the same width at hook up point? That is a must. The vertical measurement to the top link must be the same on all implements. There are also a few implements, just by design, the quick hitch will not adapt to. I knew a guy that had to remove the quick hitch to use his MF sickle mower on his MF tractor. I can see problems associated with 2 bottom plows, but not certain.

I'd tell your friend you wish to try it, see how it will match up with all your equipment.

If they fit the stuff you have they are great. they commonly fit alot of the later items. All items can be modified to fit them thou however if you want bad enough. They also put everything back about 4 inches more in mounting to your tractor

I think they are great espcially if you're in a situation where you need to change impliments a lot. The only problem is if your impliments don't match the quick hitch, but I reckon it's well worth the effort to modify them.
