well I have finally come to the end of my chain with my Gehl mx100 mixmill, if it's not the bottom gearbox it's the bottom drive-shaft worn,broke or all of the above! Which brand would make a good replacement since Gehl and it's worldly wisdom has decided to abandon the farm market! Am kind of leaning to the Art's-way or some other brand, any and all opinions or advise is greatly apreciated, Thanks.

Sometimes all it takes to make up a persons mind that fixing it one more time just might work only requires a price quote on a new machine! how about around $35,000 + Makes the old Gehl look pretty good in that reguards! thanks for the responses on my inquiry, Jim.

Last new mixer grinder we had was the UFT United Farm Tools that had bought out Wetmore. Traded old Gehl in on it. We had several Wetmores over the years actually and the last one was good but not completely trouble free either. We had to do some bracing on it and replace most all metal hydraulic lines with hoses. So New Holland and JD don't make them either now? Probably the Artsway or start looking at smaller round tub grinder mixers. There are lots of those tub grinder mixers on market now in all kinds of sizes too.

Art's-way makes a good grinder and to my knowlege they are the only company still making a tractor run portable grinder mixer.
