Dose any one have a old Winpower or keawanie digger in the grove? I think the modle was 251 or 252.
Eather a 3 point or pull type.
I thought it had a number on it that was 1000
The shanks for the winpower & Keawanie I was told
were sold to bush hog, Is this wright?
What I need is the shank assy.
There is a cast part that holds the spring in place on the top & has a flat pice of steel that goes inside of the spring to the pivet casting that the shank is bolted to. The origenal have 2 leaf springs, Was replaced by 1 heavey one.

Hi Greasy Hand, Your field cult is a Kewanee model
251 or 252-shanks would be the same. Kewanee had a
model 1000 but that was a hydraulic wing wheel
disk. Yes, Kewanee sold out to Bush Hog in the early '90's. We were selling them then. If no
dealer will help try Trueman-Welters in Buffalo,
Mn. 763-682-2200. I know they have Bush Hog and
supplied parts to our former Kewanee people. If I
can help with a p/n or ? contact me-however some
of these numbers may have changed to the new Bush
Hog system. Chuck

A digger here in MN is what might be called a field cultivator? & there is a mounted harrow behind it to level out the ground. Some call the harrow--a mulcher. I use a 20' behind a IH 806.

I think he means a field cultivator. In some areas, people call them diggers.

Well I guess there are diff name's for some things from diff places.
On the farm a Hoe is a Back Hoe in the city it could be something else.
We use chisel plows to work up the ground in the fall, There arn't very many farmers that use plows any more cause the asc office dont want you to cause of the soil eroushion.
Then in the spring they use a digger with a mulcher, Lay down your fert dig again & then plant.
How do you guys work up your ground & where are you from?

I sure would like to find the parts I need or its junk. Hate to think of that. Its in good shape but for some of the shanks.
