I need to know anything and everything about this baler. Years made, hp required, part availability, and how big of bales it puts out. How good is this baler? Kevin

I own one, works good but needs a good thick steady windrow for good bales. If the hay is thin, the bales aren't tight.

I had a #12 and it ran fine off an 8N (20 HP on a good day.) I now have a #3, and it has a 16 HP Wisconsin. My point is, not much in the horsepower department is needed.

Hi Kevin, good little baler for small acreage if not wore out !!, about 30 hp will handle it, puts out a 15x18 bale 30" or 38" long depending which sprocket you use, new and used parts readily available, number of parts from #3, #9, #10 are interchangable. Made in late 60s early 70s i believe. HTH . JJ.
