Weird Plow Question

I have a ? regarding a weird plow I saw last weekend. The plow resembles on old steel wheel one way. It has the lift handles on a 90 degree angle like some of the old one ways. The frame is just like a one way. It goes off at an angle. The only difference is it has 4 plow bottoms instead of discs. It also has coulters, and it is a factory deal. I know without pictures it is hard to imagine, but it has several part #'s on it. The part #'s all start with W. W189, W229, etc. I am mainly wondering if someone knows what implement company used the W prefix. Maybe Emerson, or Oliver? Anyone have any idea? Thanks-Bob

I think you just have the name spelled wrong, there was a Wiard (not sure of spelling) that was sold with the Silver King tractors and I think was made here in Ohio. I know it has been covered here in the past. I have also seen different ones of the Wiard Brand plows.

Hey Bob, Was it a disk plow at one time by chance or probably always a moldboard plow? MM used W, WP, WPH as models for some of their disk plows and oneway disks but MM called the oneways wheatland plows also. Not sure if other MM moldboard plows used W in parts number or model also or not? If I find something more later will let you know.

Actually, by weird I meant strange. Not a brand name. But the plow is not a converted oneway or disc plow. It does however have a frame that looks similar to a one way. The adjusting handles are at 90 degree angles like some of the oneways. Plus the steel wheels are kind of cast with holes in them like the early one ways. The plow beams are factory, plus the coulters have two different holes to be set in. One about 6" ahead of the other one. It's a 4 bottom. I know it's hard to imagine, but I'll try to get pictures. I was hoping someone would know the brand by the part #'s. Bob
