That is not an FB-B as they had yellow curved lids and green box not flat lids(compartment covers). The fert.box has wheels that put out fert on FB/FB-A while the FB-B has a long 2 piece agitatar. Tx Jim

Funny, I'm sure the FBB in the back of my machine shed has flat lids and individual agitation wheels in the fertilizer box. However, I've not looked at it closely in a couple years.

Ebay drill in reply to Gerald J., 12-18-2006 11:58:55
Gerald,I may have to eat "humble pie" on curved vs flat lids as I found a JD FB-B drill on ebay # 130057411285. In the pictures lids appear flatter than I remembered. It's listed as FB but serial number plate clearly shows FB-B. I stand firm on no flat gears in fert box on the FB-B's I've seen in person. Tx Jim

Gerald,if you have a JD FB-B with flat lids and gears that fit flat in bottom of fertilizer box "please post a picture with FB-B logo visable". It should bring a very high price as a one of a kind! When I worked for a JD dealer they were built as I stated as I remember assembling them along with other implements. Tx Jim

Its 8 miles away, two layers down and three back in the back corner of the machine shed.
