Been looking for single bottom trail plow, and I found a pretty good one. Its missing the spring hitch. Is this assembly easy to find? If the hitch can't be found, I don't think I'll buy the plow.

Your help would be appreciated.

Try Douglas Coates, (563) 588-1058, Dubuque, IA. He is another very good source of parts for older JD plows and a very nice man to work with. I've bought several things from him for #44's. Prices are very fair and his word is good as gold

Just for use you could modify the hitch from any make Pull type non trip beam blow to work. Depends on how much is missing you could possibly make the missing parts. That plow is complete a $250 plow.
