front pump coupler and drive shaft

I am trying to mount a loader on my Ford 4000. I am missing the coupler that bolts to the front engine pulley. I have a shaft that is 7/8's with 13 teeth and the coupler to the pump. The local Ford dealers are no help and have been spinning me for a couple weeks. I can't see any rocket science here.

The front engine pulley has four holes on four inch centers. Does anyone know of a hydraulics company that can supply the coupler that bolts onto the engine pulley?

That sounds like a coupler off a freeman loader for the Ford tractors. Try a Bush Hog dealer. If memory serves me correct the coupler part number is 36016151. Or go to Bush Hog web page ask for part number.

I agree with Bob this site or valuebilt or a GOOD tractor dealer should have them. Thats a very common part and theres probably close to 100,000 tractors out there if not more with those type of couplers on them so most dealers keep the stuff in stock. Sounds like your dealer is one of them that wants to sell new tractors not sell parts

THIS very site has the couplers. At least one type, anyway. Look for "Tractor Parts" under marketplace at the upper LH corner of this page.
