i recently rebuilt a 14ft kewannee disc. the disc misses about 6" or so down the center between the gangs. it kinda drives me nuts. so i was thinking, maybe mount a coulter off a plow, or i have a few vibra shanks off a field cultivator, maybe put a sweep in the center behind the first gang, or i also have a few anhydrous knives laying around. i'm sure alan in neb would have somethin handy, any thoughts?

should been one on there when it was original. The shank is basic same as on chisel plows thoough. One from field cultivator may not be heavy enough, but it fine to give it a try.

Ive seen alot of disks with a cultivator and about a 6" sweep on it stuck in the center. I just bought a 8' kewanee disk that im planning on fixing up and was planning on doing the same.

Yes,

Strap on that cultivator shank and a 6" duckfoot.

That's supposed to be there from the factory anyway. :>)
