Any auction results lately? I am a rural mail carrier, the carrier on the other route is retiring from farming. I wouldn't mind bidding on his baler for a spare. I run a NH 310, but had a weld break on plunger last summer and was down for almost 2 weeks. Stuff like that sometimes happens. I am thinking maybe in the 300-500 dollar range. I will have to trust him to bid for me, as he has his stuff listed on a neighbors sale and I really can't take the day off also. Thanks

If you can get it in that range and it is in good shape you have a nice low volume baler. I have a pair of 224T and I like them just fine.

I saw a real tired looking one sell for $250 in september. I have one that I got for free from a implement dealer friend of mine who I had done a favor for. It baled 3,000 bales this summer, and it never missed a knot, but I wouldn't take a penny less than $800 or so, if that.

Hi Doug,

I just watched a 24T sell last week. It went for $800. My top bid was $600, some one wanted it real bad. It wasn't a bad looking baler, real nice paint. It had been shedded. the knotters looked good. Needles didn't have any welds. Good tires. The only bad thing I could find was the sheet metal in the bottom of the bale chamber had a 2" tear right where one of the needles come through- not a big deal. It was a pretty decent baler. The only reason owner sold was they were moving to Oklahoma.
