Diameter will depend mor on your tractor than anything, a 2 bottom with the pressure of a 2 cylinder John Deere B should work with a 2" cylinder but a tractor with a lower pressure system may need a 2 1/2" for a two bottom and I am thinking that plow carries the trail (furrow) wheel so would only be avaible as a 2 bottom, Now a 28 plow has the furrow fheel that carries the rear of the plow and would be made in 2-3-4 bottom sizes and would the larger the plow take a larger cylinder. On the 28 3-12" we had behind a 50 AR John Deere we used the 2 1/2" John Deere B tractor cylinder with no problems, same size cylinder on other 2 & 3 bottom plows.

I would think it would take a standard 8 inch stroke.A three to three & a half inch bore should suffice on a model 26 unless it has more than 3 bottoms, but I can't remember when Farm Equipment Manufacturers Assn. standardized cylinders, three point sizes , etc.
