Has anyone ever heard of this plow? A/S MADS AMBY AALBORG DANMARK (NR) 002955
This is what's on the tag on this plow. Does anyone know anything about it? It looks to be a ripping plow. Has 9 spring loaded feet. Approx. 7 1/2 feet long. Also on the tag is a picture of a rams head.

Thanks for the information. I had never seen that name before. You can adjust the feet to several different poss. I think it will work good as a cultivator too.

That sounds like the one I picked up this summer. Mine is 6' and has 7 shanks. It has both cat 1 and cat 2 hook ups. Ford called them a field cultivator. I was unable to find anything about Mads Amby on the net.

It"s a common design. Ferguson came up with it in 1939. Pittsburg Forgings built them for Ferguson, then Dearborn/Ford, and later MF, plus sold them under their own name. Over the years, other companies in the US like Howse, Fred Cain, King Kutter, IMC, etc., have manufactured clones of the design, and since Ferguson sold in Europe, too, I wouldn"t be surprised if the same thing happened there.

I think Aalborg, Danmark (english Denmark) is where it was made. Maybe someone who knows danish could translate the rest.
