Loader trouble

My loader has stopped lifting as much as it used to. I found one relief valve looking afair that was a steel ball and a spring. Is that the only unit like that? They looked ok, nothing visibly wrong with them. Also the bucket drifts down over night now, it never used to do that. Any suggestions? It's a freeman loader. I have an up/down control and a bucket tilt control. It is NOT a powered down type.

If the bucket falls, it probably needs new seals in the cylinder[s]. Some relieve valves are adjustable. You need to check the pressure of your system. Maybe the relieve valve is weak. Leaking seals in the lift cylinders could also make it lift less but would probably make the loader boom creep down. Dave

Pumps probably getting weak if its one that runs off the crank pulley. BTDT on my 841 ford. I rebuilt all the cylinders, replaced the valve body and it still didn't lift well. I replaced the pump and it worked just like new.
