Does anyone have photo of the bagger stand for a 1910-1920 Case thresher? Dad bought a thresher like the one he remembers on the farm, but it has a spout for filling wagons. We found most of the old bagger in scrap pile (tube, diverter and bag hanger), but no stand.

Would like info to fabricate one. I think is it steel rods in an X pattern, but not sure.

thanks kevin

I have a book that shows three different bagger attachments. The book was printed in '41, so it might not be exactly right for your thresher, but it should give you some ideas. I will try to attach pics to this post.

Thanks for the help! The bagger with weigher looks like the one Dad will have once it is fabricated.

Don't know what it was like 60 years ago, but guess it was similar - stories tell it had a weighter.

thanks kevin

Kevin it has been a long time,Dad bought a combine in 1954 and he only used the thrasher a couple of times after that for orchard grass of which the bagger would have been used. His was an IHC but if I remember right two rods bent on the ends so they won't just sink in the ground, attached to each side at bottom back side of bagger and you crossed them to eliminate sway. I would guess all brands used the same system. Jim

Case Thresher not far from me with a Bagger Platform. looks like just a Wood Platform about 3' square with a angle iron frame. A small elevated platform ,[bag size] under the Spout and a wooden slide to slide the bags down to the ground. Pretty simple set up. has a shut off on the elevator Tube.
