I had a fella give a couple of binders, now I am trying to find some info on them, any help would be appricated. One is a 6ft cut and on one casting it reads B2027 type D. The other is a 8ft cut and B2027D. Is there any id tags or stamps on these somewhere? Any idea how old these are? They are in bad shape, probably good only for parts, any guess on value. I am aware of SFJ in Sisters and will check with them for info and parts books. I have lots of books but not the right ones I guess (mostly JD). Thanks ahead of time for the help.

They really did not have a model number. The op manuals identified them as being Knotter type (like your "D") I rebuild these and find there are two basic ones one has mostly oil cups and the other has grease fittings, That's a simplified explanation there are more different details but that is the easiest tell.
