I know each tooth needs to be bent in an opposite direction of its neighbor. I know that its in the vecinity of 1/2 the width of the back of the blade, WHAT I DONT KNOW IS????? ????? ?????By the bevel angle at the edge of each tooth is the direction of each tooth bent? Again ill repeat my previous post as I cant think of a different, beter way to state my problem. ASSUMING, the blade is still mounted on the saw, AND im standing in front of the table, OR YOU ARE, looking at the edge of the blade, By the bevel angle of the edge of each tooth, which way do I bend that tooth. ASSUMING, to follow the bevel angle exzisting on a individual tooth, I have to angle my file to the right, Do I bend that tooth to the right or left, or does it make a difference. AGAIN, assuming the tooth next to it I have to angle my file to the left to follow the beveled angle of that tooth to sharpen it, do I bend that tootb to the left or right, or does it make a difference. That is my problem, how to know which way to bend each tooth in accordance to the beveled angle of the tooths edge

You need a Buller saw set! There is one currently being auctioned off on ebay. It makes the job of setting the saw teeth so much easier and much more precise. Follow the advice of the previous posts for sharpening, but find yourself a Buller saw set. The teeth have to be set properly or the kerf will become jammed with sawdust and bind your saw. Tap the tooth out on the same side you sharpen it.
The unfiled side goes out. I use a 4 inch grinder to sharpen mine.

if the sharp edge is on the left...bend tooth to the left...if sharp edge is to the right...bend it to the right.
if you have any old hardware stores around check and see if they have a handheld saw set...will make life alot easier when it comes time to sharpen that blade again.

Now slow down and don't get too excited. Step back and look at it and think. slowly turn the blade the way it is going to turn and hold your finger along one side. the tooth that sticks out that side should have the sharp edge moving forward to try to cut.

After bending and fileing you want the outside of the cut to be deeper in the wood than the middle. So that if you interrupt the cut and examine the slot with the end of the cut on the bottom the slot is in the shape of a W with a short middle section.
