Folks:

My neighbor has a decent NH Super 66 Baler that has a broken crankshaft. Several attempts have been made to weld it, but thay all failed. Do any of you know a source for a crankshaft for this old girl?

Jim

Let me see if Dad is willing to part with one.

I alittle confused yet on which part you need. Is it the square part on the gearbox side of the main plunger or the crank between the main plunger and the feeder plunger?

We are located in the southeastern part of South Dakota about 60 miles northwest of Sioux City, IA

The part is the shaft that transfers power from the gear box to the plunger.

I went to NH parts list. This part is still on the balers.

Sent you an email with my phone number.

Try Kalsem Salvage at Waterloo Iowa. He has several balers sitting around.

Would a NH 66 work?

Dad has 4 NH 66s and I know one has been welding.

I just checked the Parts Catalog on the New Holland website, the crankshaft for both the 66 and Super 66 appear to be identical (Part # 39530).
