I think it is a 453 anyway, that is what it says on the top right hand corner of the plate. It has some red paint on it. Weren't all Ford plows blue? It looks very sturdy and well built. Is this plow worth much? I thought about painting it up and selling it.

I am not familiar with that number but up until 1963 all Ford equipment was red.

I'm not familiar with Ford numbers, but Oliver (and later White, with RED paint) made atleast some of the parts for Ford to bolt onto their own backbone, if not the whole thing for them. If the plow is all blue except for a part here & there, I'd suspect it was replaced with a part from the boneyard off a White plow.
