JD 350 side delivery rake

Anybody have the two cast iron connectors that connect the dolly wheels to the frame on an old JD 350 side delivery rake? Mine have both been farmer teched and look like a remedial welding class had their way with them. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I want to thank everyone for their replies. I apologize for not doing so sooner, but have been working night and day lately and had little time for playing on the computer. Found the parts that I needed at a boneyard. The fella there thought I was nuts to try to restore the old JD350 rake. Told him that as long as it will still make windrows, I intend to keep it in the field. Guess he hasn't figured out that it is guys like me who keep him in business. Oh well, he didn't hesitate to take my money and was anxious to invite me back when I needed anything else for my fleet of tractors and implements. I assured him that he will see me again soon. Thanks again for all of your assistance and replies to my post.

After rereading the original post,(a coupla times) & with the 'picture' provided in a later post..... ...

Amazed at how I 'substituted' model numbers & assumed with 'wheels' being plural..... was thinking the "two caster/support wheels" & "one cast iron bracket per wheel"..... .(he was asking about two brackets for one dolly wheel!!---- duh!!)

well, what can I use for an excuse - that would be believable?? glad an embarassed face don't show here!!

If you look them up on JD parts, they are still available.

Broke one on mine, first go round this year..... .....

opted, for less than $20 for some nickel rods..... .needed it to work - not look "pretty"...although, could have spent a little time & made it look nice..... but, decided to leave it "a little exaggerated & bulged" for the "added" strength..... "sides, nobody is going to notice, "cept me.

None of us can read I guess? lol. Yeah 350 NOT 850. 350 parts catalog would be PC522 but JD doesn't show it on parts site.

I believe the part he needs is key 9, part # G601E Support.

It looks like this. 850 series rakes: 851, 858, & 858A. The piece he is looking for is a casting for a front caster wheel not shown in pic. I think you would be better off to cut some steel plates and bushing stock and wire weld one together and can probably make one better than the original casting.

The JD 350 rake is usually a fully 3 point hitch mounted rake. They did have kit to convert one to pull type. I think he is looking for the castings that hold the 2 rear caster wheels to the rake. Most of them I have seen have been broke and welded more than once.

Nope don't have one but if we are talking about the same thing it's part # G601E Support for JD 851 & 858 and JD Parts shows the number invalid of course. Try googling the number or checking salvage yards or go thru the obsolete parts system warehouse. adepr.com (parts)
