Hey folks, a friend of mine has some equipment that she wants to sell, but I have no idea what it's worth. And a couple of pieces I don't even know what they are! Any help would be appreciated. The info I have is..... Tye Pasture Pleaser model 104-3404. Needs paint, hyd hoses, and tires replaced. Been sitting for years. I know what it is, but what might it be worth? Next, some type of a hay grapple made by the Hay Van Company. Not sure how it mounts, but it has one hyd cylinder and a set of long grabbing arms. The next item I'm just not real sure what to call it. Maybe a broadcaster of sorts. New Holland, I think the model is 408. A wide (maybe 7 foot) metal box on wheels with a towing hitch. It has a plate on it that gives settings for various fertilizers and seeds. Needs paint and tires. Very rusty, but looks solid. Any help on info and value would be much appreciated.

The old fertilizer spreader isn't worth much. I bought one for $50, sounds like mine is in better shape than yours. Saw one sell for $100 recently. Everyone has gone to bulk spread fertilizer. Can hardly buy bag fertilizer anymore.

The newer Pasture Pleasers bring serious money around here...thousands of dollars. Paint tires and hoses are cheap....but rusted out bins and rotators are expensive. What is it like inside?
Most people in this area rent them for a day or two, as needed. The local seed store here has 3 or 4 on the lot for rental. Beats spending $5000 or more for one of your own.
