Baled the last hay, washed the round baler, oiled the chains, and put it under shelter. Before baling the last field today, did a job I hate, which is putting some teeth on the header. Replaced 6 sets of teeth and what makes me mad half of them had just been replaced this spring. Might as well get cheap TSC teeth if they have them. Baler is Vermeer 505I which otherwise gave perfect service this year.

Theres your problem you fixed the baler before putting it away for next year.

I always wait till I mow and pull out the baler the next day and realize I didn't fix it from the year before.

Then I scramble to get it ready because the hay is ready to bale.

I guess this old fert never learns.
