I was at the Farm Science Review and saw a company called Pottinger who had the 3 point mount disc mowers with optional detachable roller or finger conditioners. Does anyone know of other companies with a set up like this. All the other companies I saw had just the finger conditioners available. Does anybody know of any dealers in Ohio; their website just gives the Canadian importers but does have reviews from guys in the U.S. saying their local dealers carry Pottinger. Just wondering what these would cost versus a trailed mowers cost. Thanks for any replies. JaredM

There are very few manufacturers that make a 3-point mower with a roller conditioner. Out of all the mounted mowers that were at the Louisville show this spring, I only saw one that had a roller, probably the Pottinger you are describing. The flail-type conditioner dominates the European market and this is where the majority of these mowers come from. It would take a good sized tractor to handle one of these mowers, not just for the power but also for the weight. Not sure of how the cost would compare to the 9' pull-type disk mower/conditioners available from Deere, CNH, and AGCO.
