JD 224ws Baler

I was wondering what tires went on this baler originally. If anyone has pictures of this baler I would appreciate as well.

I bought one and it had a 5.6x15 wheel/tire 4 lug on the right or light side and a 7x16LT wheel/tire 6 lug on the left or heavy side. Trying to figure out what to put on it to tow home 90 miles away.

Any advice would be appreciated.

not sure about original size but mine has a 7.00x15 on the left(heavy)side and a 5.60x15 on the light side. It looks like a old volkswagon tire to me. But it was my grandpas baler and it was like that when i accuired it.

The owners manual shows 5.00x15 -4ply right side 27 p.s.i. 7.60x15-6ply left side 40 p.s.i. weight 2910lbs with pto 3334lbs with engine width 8ft 4 in

I put 15 inch trailer tires on our JD 14T when we bought it. They had the load capacity and worked fine on that baler.

If the tires fit and are in decent shape, pull it. Ag tires and roads don't mix real well, the LT tire would do better on the road (less heat buildup). We had a NH 851, we put some $45 60 series car tires on it when we priced the new ag tires at $150...ran that way for years with zero problem.
