How do you get the remaining bales out of the baler. I want to clean it out for storage and dont want the bales to sit there and rust the machine out.

Thanks Devin

I just take a couple bales of straw and feed it in before I put the baler away for winter.

With baler running, trip the Knotters to tie the last bale, loosen tensioners right off, pull bales out the back.

Hey Devin,
On my NH 273 I just loosen the tension, cut the twine & reach in there and pull it out by hand. Do it right beside the fence, throw it over the fence & the critters will take care of the cleanup.

The way we always did it on a JD-14T was to loosen up the back end and then take a 2X6 or something like that about 2 foot long and put it in the baler and turn it over by hand to push out the last of the hay. If you do it right you can even hand tie it so you can save that one last bale. I don't know if you can do that on your baler but its worth a try. DON'T use the tractor power to do it or you may end up fixing things you don't want to have to fix.
