No matter how careful you think you are, its only an instant. I was ejecting the last bale from the bale wrapper, and was advancing the push off bar. For some reason I told the guy helpng to trip it before I stepped clear, and he did exactly what I asked. Now I lay here with a broken tibia, torn ACL, and torn LCL. Lucky just the same, my leg is still here.

Thanks to Mercer Co FD and EMS, they took good care of me.

Kyhayman; Sorry to hear of your accident. Hope youre recovery is quick. I have been thinking of contacting you, I think I remember you had a 3/4 ton Silverado and replaced your tires with Michilins. Was going to ask how they worked out. I need a set and checking around. Thanks, Bob

Hope you heal up quick. Also thanks for posting it on here. Hopefully some of us will think twice about what we are doing when we are out in the field because of your post.

Sorry to hear that kyhayman, I got tangled up in a silage bagger one time just was real lucky I didn,t get killed. What kind of wrapper was it, we have a lot of Tubeliners around here with a few Reeves and Andersons also.

I was an Anderson. I've used it before. Last time I wrapped the push off bar hit the first roller and bent all that stuff up. I was guiding it into the last bale, while the hired man was pushing. Its my own fault, tired, end of the day, and I motioned myhired man to trip it before I stepped clear, never had a change too.
