Can anyone give me some input as to the age of a JD 375 round baler, the good points about them as well as the bad points. I have a chance to buy one and was wondering if I could get some information as what to look for prior to making an offer on it.Thanks in advance for anyones help and input on this baler. Richard

I do not know if it is net wrap or not as I am waiting a reply for an e-mail to find out more info about the baler. Are these JD 375 known to make a tight center in the bale?

The 375(5x4) is virtualy identical in funtion to the 335(4x4). They make a hard core bale, they can make silage bales. They are excellent balers and make nice bales. I have a 335 and have had very few problems with it. The disadvantage of the 375 is because the bale is 5x4 instead of 4x5 there is more surface to spoil if the bales are left out to weather.

The biggest disdvantage would be the 5ft. bale width. Most round balers today make a 4ft wide bale that can be easily hauled two wide on a wagon or trailer. I know a farmer that bought a 375 because the price was reasonable, He would not buy another one.

Manufactured from 1989 to 1996, they are a 61.5"x51" baler, basiclly 5'x4', and Hotline lists them as priced from $4521 to $6272 so that likely means that a local Deere dealer would think they were $9000 and up, What features does this one have? Netwrap?

The baler is not net wrap. It is twine only. What would I expect to have to pay for this baler? Also is there any website I can get on to that has tech info for implements? I am aware of TractorData but I was wondering if there is a similar site for implements.
