so has anyone bought those $50 deals that have two wavy coulters side by side and replace one chisel point?

do they work?

I have an idea - and that is not always a good sign....

I will se if I can find the ad and a picture of them - these are not like lead coulters - they replace the actual chisel points

I've been waiting to see replies - I too am not familiar with what you are talking about. Only with coulters that run in front of the points to cut the cornstalks.

Put those out in front of the chisel to cut down trash so it doesn't drag on the chisels. They aren't made to penetrate and do the job of a chisel.
