I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NEW HOLLAND 271 BALER WITH A 4CYLINDER WISCONSON MOTER EVERY THING WORKS BUT THE TIEING GEARS ARE OUT OF TIME. DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS OR WHERE I CAN GET A BOOK ON IT THANKS.

Get a manual form New Holland (Ford) dealer. You will want it for several adjustments over the years.

You are aware that having the needles out of time can (will) break them, so be careful on what you adjust without looking at a manual.

The manual is A MUST, you will need one. The main thing is patience, it may take a whole day to get it lined out, but if you follow the manual you can set it up. Also don't wait till the day you start baling to go over it I'm starting now to get mine in shape.
