I bought a 3 bottom rollover in furrow plow, fast hitch to pull on a 560 farmall diesel tractor. I was wondering where to adjust the wheels on the tractor so that there in the right spot when I hook it up and want to go plow.

Like this one, only with the two point prongs?

Measure out from the centerline of pull to 16" beyond the first shin edge. Multiply by 2 and that will give you your stance measured center to center of the rear tires. Should end up somewhere around 66", I'd guess.

I thought you'd appreciate that since it's your plow. :>)

Gotta keep these pictures around; easier to explain things 'cause I sure can't talk. :>)

Thanks Allan, Ill give that a shot, I have another question for you. My plow didnt come with a hydraulic cylinder. I see you have one just like it by your picture. What size is your cylinder.

It should take a standard 3 X 8 cylinder.

Be sure to put restrictors in the hydraulic lines. If you don't, the plow will try to tear itself up by coming around too hard on the spin.

Also, the pins have to be pulled in the tractor's hitch so that you don't have any down pressure on the plow. Depth is controlled by that guage wheel and you have to make sure that the latch is free and will hook in both directions.

Lastly, the vertical lift arms on your hitch should have lift collars. Drop those collars down to the lower notch so that it is able to "float free" on the land side. This allows the plow to run at the same depth in both directions.

Easiest way: Mount plow, sit it down on level ground after you've run your left wheels up on 7 or 8 inch blocks. Measure from the first plows shin 14 in (or 16 if 16 in bottoms). That's where you want the inside of that (furrow) tire. Then repeat procedure for the other side.
