I just bought a haybine I no nothing about then.
I can't get it to go down in the cutting position.
I removed the pin under the cylinder that the guy told me to do.
Because the pin was for transporting only.
Is there anything else I should do?

Boy I"m I dumb. Today I took off whole transporting bar (also the same bar to tilt for cutting) to see what was going on.
And a spacer plate (U shaped)that was covering the bar where the guy told me to take out the PIN for transporting just fell off. That is all that was wrong! It was holding it so the bar couldn't go in.Put in back on and everything is find! Goes up and down perfectly. Thanks to all that tried to help!

Do you have it hooked up the right way as far as hyds on your tractor?? Is it a one way or 2 way cylinder. If its a 2 way and you have it hooked up as a one way it will not drop.

It' one way.
One hose comes out of the cylinder and then there is a plug in the other hole with a breather.(meaning of breather it has a hole in a cap)
So when I move the lever hydraulic fluid squirts out of the breather. But all it does is move alittle up and down.
