Thanks for the help everyone, I raised the gate, chained it down, put a 4x4 block of wood and my 20 ton jack under the section I needed to straighten and it worked like a charm. It took about 5 minutes per side and now the gate is level at the bottom and latches perfectly.

The hydraulics wouldn"t straighten it, but that jack worked like a charm.

I think mine bent by dropping the gate too soon from getting away from the bale and it snagged the bale and rolled it before dropping.

I noticed that belt lacing, I think it got chewed up on the ends of the lacing a bit when the baler wasn't latching and the belt twisted itself a time or two.

I will get that fixed.

Good to see Tim! Since the hydraulics wouldn't bend it back, makes you wonder how it got bent in the first place. That way you could avoid it in the future.

I think, repeat think, it was latching ok before a hydraulic hose broke, looking at it when it was bent, I think it was maybe barely latching before,
and the hose breaking and the gate twisting might have bent it enough to stop latching.

I made several bales with it before the hose break, and I had just purchased it the week before, so other than that, who knows how it got bent.

I'm just glad it's latching now...

Tim had a belt twist on me this year. Mine doesn't look as bad as yours. Do you have a lasing kit or if not how do you plan on doing that. I have a MF 1560 i believe it's ust like a 605f. I guess I need to find one of those tools.

Well it twisted several times, its straightened out now but I am sure that twisting was hard on that lace.

Has anyone had any luck with squeezing the loose metal loops back in pace with pliers and then running a lace thru those to reinforce it a bit until I can get a tool and redo it properly?

I don't have one of the lacing tools, I guess I might have to hunt one up around the Kansas City area.

I have done that on occasions. Very temporary fix. Check around, there might be a dealer or repair shop that can do it for a minimal cost.
