I have a backhoe attatchment - Trojan - model 111-2b825. I am looking for information to be able to mount it to a tractor. I currently have a Ford 1700 (2 cylinder - 23 hp)and I believe the backhoe is too large for this tractor. Does anyone know if this backhoe could be used on a John Deere 2010 tractor (4 cylinder - 45 hp). What is the minimun hp needed to run this backhoe? Any help would be appreciated.

If this is a huge backhoe then that would be you only problem I could see. There is a guy by me that has a ford 2000 and he a has a very large backhoe on it. The 2010 should handle it.

I really don"t know how deep it will did. I would guess at least 12 feet or so. The bucket is 2 feet wide.
