Vermeer 605H gate bent down..?

Any ideas on how to bend the channels back up without diassembling the gate? I thought about chaining down the big tube that runs across the back of the gate to the axle, heating the area that needs to bend and then applying pressure upwards with a jack or with the hydraulics....

Soooo if you open the gate to that height at which it was bent and then chain down or secure the gate so it cannot go higher lift with the cyinder to push that bend in the lift bracket back out.

Find where the gate itself is bent and hook the hold down chain so that bend can go back up also.

If you get the lift arm straight and the gate is still bent you then may be able to jack under the gate its self to straighten it.

With using the hydraulics I would not use any heat.

I said chain down at the height it was bent but you may have to get the lift arm at 90 degrees to the cylinder for it to have leverage to straighten the lift arm.

You may want to tie down at the outer end of the lift arm itself and not the gate to start with.

That looks ugly to me. I wonder how that happened. We ran 605F balers for years and never had that kind of a bend. I caught my share of bales with the gate too. If you are going to get it back in place, it looks like heat will be needed. The only other thought is to check for a used part from a wrecker. Might be simpler in the long run.
