Just bought some baling wire last week for $49.95 per box. 2 boxes will bale approximatly 725 36in long bales so that figures out to about 13 1/2 cents per bale. Tx Jim

Local New Holland dealer and I think it's name is Girard. It bales ok but I do put extra oil on it as it looks a little dry to me. I don't normally do small squares and I rent this baler from a neighbor. Tx Jim

I"ve always been curious what wire would cost. I use sisal myself. $28 for 9000 this year.

Where are you located? Are you talking small square? Large square? round? From experience (I work at a dealer that sells twine), I know that a bale of 9000 sisal is $36.99, and 7200 sisal is the same. These are for small square. 28000 poly for rounds is $33.99. 20000 poly is $26.99. Net wrap for round bales runs between $250.00 and $280.00, depending on the size (4 ft or 5 ft) For more detail, e-mail me.

$37!!!! IN our parts it's about $10 less for 9000 and 7200. We get it from Fleet farm and we've never had a problem with their twine.
