We've been able to order parts directly through Hiniker, this spring we got a new shear bar for the old gal. We tried them for the gathering chains, but they sent us to another guy who custom makes them, he's got a website but I don't know it off the top of my head. Seems like just one guy who does it out of his shop at home and jhis daughter answers the phone once in a while. Heck, we were able to call him on Labor day when we had a question. While he wasn't thrilled to get the call on a holiday, he did take care of us because we are his customer. So far part's haven't been too much of a problem, most things are easy to make yourself or have a machine shop make. Things like blower bands, they're all the same from the earlier 50's models to our 3000. Last year while doing corn it blew a hole in the band, but we've got an older Fox that had a relatively new band on it. We stole tha band and in less than 2 hours I was back in the feild chopping corn. For Belts and the like, I'd go directly to a rubber belts/hosing supplier, who happens to be located right next to the dealer that used to sell Fox new. I know that parts are getting tougher to find, but for the most part there are enough out there to have some support left. Gehl will be the same way pretty soon because they recently dropped their Ag line. Just gotta look around some online, not just try the same old dealer with poor service... Sorry to ramble on....
