Been baling milo stalks and corn stalks last couple weeks.

I been making about a 5 1/2 foot bales in corn stalks. I started hearing a squeak when the bale gets almost to the 5.5 foot size. It goes away when I start a new bale and does not squeak again till almost full.

I set the baler back to make about a 5 1/3 bale and no squeak. I rolled some milo right before starting on corn stalks set at 6 foot bales and never heard a squeak. I checked all the bearing that I could find and they all seemed ok, hottest one was 130 degrees and it was about 102 temperature in the shade that day.

Could it be related to just corn stalks or do I have a problem starting some where. Chains are lubed with chain lube and I am running normal pressure in both air and hyd.

I have tried to listen and figure out where it coming from but hard to figure where noise is coming from. It is sorta a high pitch squeak
Thanks

low green was the starting air pressure. towards the end of the field it had seeped down to high blue.
Hyd pressure was in the middle range ( sorry can not remember what color codes they are here at PC)

We have had this scenario happen on a 605 K baler making a noise just like you say. The Air Gage was not accurate. We put a new air pressure gage on the baler and had only one color separation between the setting of the air & hydraulics, the noise went away. Before we did this we took the belts out and checked for a bad bearing and could not fine a bad bearing. You have to start at one end of the possible causes and check them all to fully isolate the problem. This may not fix you baler but it might be something you've not checked yet.
