I have a orange rear unloading forage wagon from aboutlate 50's. I think the brand name is foragemaster, I live in southeast WI and had two on our farm. Can anyone help me find out where they were manufactured? It has all iron stringers and cross pieces, It uses an electric motor to run ratchet teeth to wind a set of cables to pull a slant gate to the rear of the wagon. Thanks for any help IHfarmerDave

Hi: On my dad's Dairy Farm in N.Central ILL. in the 1950's we had several [3]of these type wagons that you inquire of. As a just turned teen ager I unloaded many loads of chopped Hay, Straw and Corn Silage from these wagons.They were built from a Kit that was purchased from our Dealer. The kits were made in Wisconsin and If I remember right Marshfield comes to mind. Any way we used Wood Stringers and Crossmembers and tongue and groove car siding for the floor, furnished the Wood for the sides and Rear and Screen for the top part of the sides. The Pull back front we made also.The rear lift up door we used Gate Hinges for the pivot along with Steel rods to hold the door up. I'm surprised any of these old unloading Wagons are still around what with the PTO forage Boxes being so ultra modern and even they are becoming obsolete..
