I just pick up a baler for to sell for some old friends, they retired and sold there place and this was leftover. It's supposed to be a running baler but has set for about six years. If I don't sell it I need to give them something for it. So what would be fair? Located up in Pacific NW bjr

Gwiz is pretty close. A 316 in good condition in your area should go for between 3900 and 4500 dollars. There are a lot of unanswered questions though because this baler was probably manufactured in the mid-eighties and you say its been setting for several years it may be of greater value if its been sheded and the paint is in good condition..... Good luck

Paint is not very good on most of the machine and some rust on one panel. Are the decals available somewhere should I decide to paint it? I'm gonna power wash the thing and regrease the chains and bearings, theres accumalation of dirt on everything. bjr

I recently tried to buy a really nice, low use, one owner one over the phone. I would have paid $3600, but hung up the phone as it passed $4700.
