The farm we share equipment with hit a rock with their mf 224 and destroyed the pickup and I mean destroyed!

I will try and get some pics but it left a trail of broken casting pieces and misc metal in the field. The woman was a bit worked up as she has 1000 bales down or so and people coming to get it. We drug the old JD out and saved the day.

Now if it would just stop making banana bales!

Friend of mine's wife was out baling a few days ago when the tractor had a small fire. They think electrial. She tried to put it out with the on board extinguster but failed. Neighbor saw it and brought another to no avail. They managed to keep it from spreading to the 1 year old NH 575 baler with a shovel. By the time the VFD got there, neighbor called on his way out, it had pretty much burnt to the ground. Apparently the fuel tank above the engine used plastic lines and once they melted it was all over.

Don't recall the model but it was a Ford front wheel assist 7000 something model. About 20 grand worth. Took the adjuster about 2 sec to total it. I hope to get over there today to take a couple pics to post in stuck and troubled.
