I have one of these rigged to a 3 pt hitch. While using it the machine popped the swing latch. I put it back in place but had to use a 5/16" bolt to hold it in place. I can't seem to see any way the hinge latches. Whats the secret of this break away device?

Theirs a spring under the mower that can be tightend to put more pressure on the roller thats on the breakaway device.
